How to secure your spot

Your application will be forwarded to the trainer in your province. Once they have made contact with the course information and you have been accepted, you will need to pay the deposit required to secure your spot. This is essential as there is limited space in each training, and our classes are very popular.

This is an intense course, both theoretically and practically — please ensure you have sufficient time to devote to it for the full 6 months. Practicals will most likely be done during the week. Once a course is underway, we don't accept late bookings — you will need to book for the next workshop. Pregnant women and mothers with babies under 6 months are asked to wait until their baby is over 2 years old.

These dates may be subject to change. All classes are contact sessions. ALL classes must be attended in FULL. 30 hours of supervised practical labour support must be completed 14 days before exam date in order to write the exam. If you meet our criteria of being a mother yourself, and not a health professional (e.g. midwife, nurse or doctor), you are welcome to email Dr. Hanrahan to apply.
